Splendid Autumn Colorful Party-Lesson Plan

Many leaves change colors in autumn. Elephants, owls and fish would like to be as colorful as the leaves, and paint themselves different colors. They decide to host a colorful party and invite everyone to join.

Gross Motor Activity 

Let’s go to the party!

First, you will pass through the path that is intertwined with the roots. Step on the logs, and be careful with colorful blocks. Don’t step on them!

A bees’ nest is next! There are lots of different hidden treasures in the honeycombs. Take guess what are in the Mystery Bags while stepping on the Weplay Honey Hills.

Can you walk like a penguin? Cross over the balance bridge with both legs, one on each path.

We are almost there, walk along the blue water trail and we will arrive at the party venue!

Fine Motor Activity 

Animals would like to have 4 stages with different colors and shapes. Please follow the building process below and help them to build the perfect stages.

1) Take a colorful block while striding across Weplay Jungle Trial.

2) There are 4 different stage designs, which built by colorful blocks.

3) Add the block that was picked up along the Jungle Trial to match with the colorful stages.

After setting up the stages, the elephants, owls and small fish can’t wait to get the party started, but, their colors must be the same as the stage they are in. How can we help them?

1) Take 1 or 2 animals, and make sure that you can make yellow, blue, green or orange animals.

2) Match the colorful animals with the stages.

3) Now, animals all stand on the stages. It’s party time!
